About

Naomi

Naomi Blundell Meyer (b.1996, London) is a sculptor and illustrator working predominantly with ceramics. Her work explores the interplay between form, materiality, and storytelling. Merging organic abstraction with conceptual depth, she creates sculptural ceramics that exist between art and function—pieces that are at once unique artworks and vessels of meaning.

Upon finishing her bachelors in Illustration at University of the Arts London (2019) she began using the medium of clay to illustrate. Naomi’s practice is deeply rooted in narrative, she often uses her own poetry to add depth and contextualise her projects. Her work often draws on mythology, climate science, and themes of transformation, giving shape to ideas that exist beyond the tangible. In her recent series, Suffocating Horizons, she translates projected climate change data into sculptural vessels, creating eerie yet poetic reflections on the fragility of our future.
Based in Berlin, Naomi runs a ceramics studio at 90mil Berlin, where she produces her own work, facilitates creative workshops, and manages a small community of ceramic artists. Here she curates workshops that invite others into the tactile and expressive world of clay. Additionally, she offers a selection of her sculptural ceramics for sale, as well as in rentals for styling shoots and events, where she collaborates with interior designers and stylists.

Her approach to ceramics is intuitive yet intentional—allowing the material to guide the process while pushing its boundaries. Whether through experimental textures, fluid forms, or the quiet weight of fired earth, her work invites contemplation on the climate crisis, mythology, and our connection to the physical and spiritual world.
